The cereals we grow are durum wheat, durum turanicum wheat, common wheat, dicocco and monococco spelt, barley and flax.

Since 1999, the whole of the farmland has been certified by the Bios unit and all agricultural practices have been in compliance with EU regulations governing organic farming.

The products of our tuscan hills are grown with consideration of the care of soil fertility through the use of natural substances alone, thus excluding the use of chemical synthesis products.

Natural soil fertility is increased by targeted mechanical work, residual organic matter input from crops, multi-annual rotations, cultivation of better species of the agronomic characteristics of the soil.

The choice of varieties with the best adaptability to our environment, the ability to compete with the infestants and resistance to the main adversity is another key factor in the success of the crops produced. The systematic application of these techniques helps to balance the farm’s ecosystem by allowing products of high quality.
